Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Twist N Turn Studios (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in our games, products, website, and services, including our Jubensha (immersive role-playing) experiences (collectively, the “Services”).

By making a booking, participating in an event, or using our website twistnturnstudios.ca, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our Services.

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

1.1 Booking Process

All bookings must be made through our official website or authorized platforms.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, including full names, contact details, and the total number of participants.

Twist N Turn Studios reserves the right to reject or cancel any booking with incomplete or inaccurate information.

1.2 Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

We accept Credit and Debit card.

Walk-in or on-site payments may be accepted depending on availability, but advance booking is recommended.

1.3 Booking Confirmation

A confirmation email (and/or SMS) will be sent once your booking is complete.

If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at unravel.it.jubensha@gmail.com.

2. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & REFUNDS

2.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled event for a refund in the form of store credit equal to the amount paid.

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, no-shows, or dissatisfaction due to personal preference.

2.2 Adding or Changing Participants

Additional players may be added before the session if there is capacity, and payment for those players must be made before the event begins.

No refunds are issued for missing participants or no-shows.

2.3 Force Majeure

If your session must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, government restrictions, or emergencies), we will issue store credit that may be used for future bookings.

3. ARRIVAL, LATE POLICY & CHECK-IN

3.1 Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session for check-in, introductions, and rule briefing.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened or canceled session without refund.

3.2 Late Arrivals

Games begin promptly at the scheduled time.

If you arrive late, you may:

Play with reduced time, or

Wait for the next available session (subject to availability, not guaranteed).

Refunds will not be issued for missed or shortened sessions.

4. SAFETY, CONDUCT & EVENT RULES

4.1 Player Conduct

Participants must follow all host or staff instructions and respect other players.

Disruptive or abusive behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.

You are responsible for any intentional damage to props, materials, or venue property.

4.2 Health & Participation

Please ensure you are in good health before participating.

If you have conditions such as heart problems, epilepsy, or claustrophobia, consult a physician before joining.

Twist N Turn Studios is not liable for injuries, allergic reactions, or health-related incidents that occur during participation, unless caused by our negligence.

4.3 Emergency & Safety

Emergency exits or safety instructions will be provided before gameplay.

If you feel unsafe, notify a host immediately.

4.4 Prohibited Items

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants:

No weapons or dangerous objects

No alcohol, drugs, or intoxicated participants

No open flames or flammable materials

5. AGE, GROUP SIZE & SESSION TYPE

5.1 Age Requirements

Recommended for ages 18+

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

5.2 Group Size

Full sessions are required for the game to start unless we are notified beforehand

5.3 Private vs. Shared Sessions

All sessions are priced for Private sessions

Shared Sessions are only issues through community chats (e.g. Discord)

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CREATIVE CONTENT

All materials created and provided by Twist N Turn Studios—including stories, scripts, artwork, designs, and gameplay concepts—are the property of the Studio and protected by copyright laws.

You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, or record any part of the game or its content

Post or share clues, storylines, or materials publicly

Use our game concepts or story elements for commercial purposes without permission

Feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation.

7. DIGITAL & ONLINE EXPERIENCES

If you participate in online or remote sessions:

You must maintain appropriate behavior during live sessions or in community spaces (e.g. Discord).

Sharing private game materials is prohibited.

Technical issues caused by your own equipment or internet connection do not qualify for refunds.

8. LIABILITY

By participating in any Twist N Turn Studios event (online or in person), you acknowledge:

Activities may involve light physical movement or psychological themes.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

You agree to release and hold harmless Twist N Turn Studios, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage during participation, except in cases of proven negligence.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Photography or recording of any kind is prohibited during gameplay unless expressly permitted.

By participating, you consent to the use of group photos or footage taken by our staff for marketing purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Please keep valuables with you—Twist N Turn Studios is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property.

11. PRIVACY

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy link], which complies with PIPEDA and GDPR regulations.

By using our Services, you consent to the handling of your information as described in that policy.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the courts or arbitration rules of that jurisdiction.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect operational or legal changes.

The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the new Terms.
